Waikato Orchestral Society Incorporated Foundation Scholarship

The Waikato Orchestral Society Inc. is accepting applications to the Foundation Scholarship.  These scholarships were set up to recognise the foresight of the founding members of the Waikato Orchestral Society in establishing a Symphony Orchestra which has contributed significantly to the Waikato's cultural scene for over 60 years. They also recognise the contribution of the Music Department of the University of Waikato to music in the region.

Any currently enrolled, or accepted, University of Waikato Performance music student may apply. School leavers who are intending to study performance music at the University of Waikato may also apply. The value of each scholarship is $1,500. Further information about conditions pertaining to the scholarships, selection and payment is supplied with the application forms.
